These are the words that Doctor Manuel Concha uses to define his life, a series of coincidences which have led him to become one of the best cardiovascular surgeons in Spain. In 1986 he performed the first cardiac transplant in Andalusia and was also the first one who performed a transplant on a child in Spain. This surgeon has performed 400 cardiac transplants and he is also professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Medical School of Cordova and has trained many companions in this practice. Born in Castellón and raised in the Bay of Cádiz, he moved to Cordova more than 30 years ago.
