Gil Favor (Eric Fleming) finds himself in a right pickle when a woman claims he is her husband in this episode from Rawhide (titled The Incident of the Married Widow) from 1963. And the woman herself (Patricia Barry) proves less than willing to co-operate until Gil finally has enough and decides to spank some sense into her until she agrees to his proposals. I wonder if this actually worked in the Old West - or even if they dared try it? Oh, and in case you are wondering where you may of seen the other chap before, it is Dabbs Greer, best known as the preacher in Little House on the Prairie from 1974 to 1983.
