As India looks at Unlock 2.0, Motown has already started preparing for a recovery. While most showrooms are shut at the moment, car makers on going full throttle to resume production in June. India's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki is looking to produce over 4000 vehicles daily with an estimate of 1,20,000 vehicles in May. Mahindra Group has also asked its vendors to continue supplies and ramp up production of its new SUV Thar. Tata Motors, too, is looking to continue its good run with a target of over 20,000 vehicles production in June.
