Amazing Sahara

This is 2nd Episode of Morocco photo tour trilogy, it includes the 2nd 5 days of trip visiting two different parts of Sahara Desert. Sahara Desert is the highlight of our Morocco photo tour. Unlike the general tour to the desert where you have a camel ride, have a campfire party, and stay in the desert camp for one night. We have a five days four nights of in-depth visits, explore different parts of Desert. On the first two days we arrived in Merzouga, we arranged two camel rides at sunset and on the following morning. We had a lot of fun at the campfire party. In addition, I also did the night photography and Sunrise time lapse, so that we could fully appreciate the beauty of the Sahara Desert. Our 2nd desert stop is at Erg Chigaga, our arrival was welcomed by the aroma of a roasted whole lamb, setting the tone for the night. In the morning, we woke early to capture the changing colors of sky, and light & shadow effects on the nearby sand dunes, where the golden hues of the sand patterns truly mesmerized me. A camel trip later in the morning, with a mid-journey rest and a surprise desert picnic, added to the unique experience. The highlight is taking a four-wheel drive vehicle to the bottom of the highest peak in the late afternoon, then hiking up to the top and overlooking waves of sand dunes connecting to the horizon, with the slanting sunlight and sunset color, the view is just magnificent.
