Bump steer is the term for the tendency of the wheel of a car to steer itself as it moves through the suspension stroke. This is a common disadvantage to the Macpherson strut suspension setup on the EP3 Type R. The primary purpose of the Accelerate Civic build is track abuse, so we need to combat the known bump steer as best we can.
