Kolan River Barramundi and exploring

I have long looked forward to exploring the Lake Monduran/Kolan River area and I finally made some time for a solo trip (no wife or kids) to give me plenty of fishing time. I trekked down late morning to allow time to set up the tent and familiarise myself with the launch site for the following day. This video shows the first evening and day one of the trip. The first evening proved quiet, with eels and catfish cruising about. The following day involved plenty of exploring and a couple of Catfish landed, then watching Barramundi swim about in the shallows before a hot session as a shower passed through while the cameras tired. It took a while to get the bite, but was great while it lasted, followed by a damp trek back to the car.
