Epic waterfowl hunting for Canada geese and mallards over barley and oat fields in the Inter Lakes Region of central Manitoba with Sleeve Lake Outfitters. Large decoy spreads using full body decoys, silhouettes and spinning wing decoys and incorporating A frame blinds on field edges. This region offers tremendous waterfowl hunting because this is where agriculture meets the boreal forest. This area offers some of the first crop fields these birds encounter during the fall migration. The fields are physically small and offer many options for concealment. These birds just haven’t had any hunting pressure yet and are not yet educated to decoy spreads. Sleeve Lake Outfitters offers a small, personal hunting camp in a premier area of Canada with some great guides, good food and superb waterfowl hunting. During our hunting which was early in the season, we harvest both greater Canada geese and lesser Canada geese, mallards, widgeon and pintail while hunting over field decoy spreads.
