Tanks and Infantry work hand in hand and side by side. One without the other and they rely heavily on one another to support a assault or any kind of battlefield manuevers. But in todays modern battlefield, who is the first to get into the fight and lead the sprearhead of a armoured force? Do tanks roll in first and hope other infantry do not knock them out before they even make it to the oppsoing tanks? Or do the infantry head first and clear the infantry out ahead and hope the tanks are not going to lead the attack? Ideally its a mix of both, but its a complex and very subjective tactical process.
