In light of the pandemic, we decided to update a previous cleaning video to ensure that we’re following the CDC’s recommendations more closely. The main change is that in the previous video, we recommended 50% alcohol, but the CDC recommends 70% alcohol. While the CDC recommends cleaning with ⅓ cup of bleach per gallon of water, we’re recommending that you use half a cup of bleach, just to be on the safe side. Cleaning your product is a breeze! Simply take a bar of mild soap and run it under some water to create a lather. You can also use a mild liquid soap if you prefer. Whatever type of soap you use, just make sure it doesn’t contain pumice or other abrasive materials. The temperature of the water doesn’t matter. Lather up your RX Sleeve, rinse it off, and pat it dry. It’s that easy! To fully disinfect your RX Sleeve, simply submerge it in 70% alcohol or a solution of ½ cup bleach and one gallon of water.
