Signal One (1994) Toni (Virginia Hey) (New Entry) Review of the tough female assassin in this Australian buddy cop thriller (also known as Bullet Down Under) that stars Christopher Atkins and Mark "Jacko" Jackson. Summary of the messy plot includes the first encounter with the killer, a chase scene where traumatised hero Martin Bullet fails to shoot the fleeing villainess, the murder of a lowlife criminal in a warehouse, and revelation the assumed male assassin "Tony" is actually blonde female Toni. The review then summarises the final encounters leading to the docks finale and Bullet's redemption. Extended honourable mention for the ruthless Adrian (Laura Robinson) and wannabe gangster Parrish (Colleen Embree) in the Canadian thriller Thrillkill (1984). Summary covers the bizarre "countdown" murder of a hacker and attempts to recover stolen money using an anachronistic VR computer game.
