Formerly, there is only escalator on the right side and stairs on the left side. It was installed and build in 2007. However, in December 2024, they hoarded the stairs to be installed an escalator. The escalator is actually shipped in early 2024 and placed in P2 floor Multi Storey Carpark 2 of Mall Kelapa Gading 2. The construction was probably started in January 2025 by demolished the stairs first and then installed the escalator. Next month, I saw that this escalator was almost completed and it's finally operating in early March 2025. This escalator is not 100% completed yet. The truss covers were not installed and currently covered by something like polypropylene board.
