Whisk well until everything is nicely combined. 5. Now, add the dry ingredients little by little into the wet mixture. Mix gently to form a thick, smooth batter. Do not overmix. 6. Add vanilla essence and mix lightly. 7. Grease a cake tin and pour the batter into it. Tap gently to remove air bubbles. 8. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
