I chose two wise poems for this original playlist: “November” by John Edward Logan and "In November” by Archibald Lampman. Both begin with bleak scenes, but each ends with a sense of ease. Winter is tough, and so are life’s hardships; sometimes, forgiveness isn’t easy—there’s no need to force it. As Logan wrote, “So much remembrance is too much regret. We love, we lose, we weep and we forget.” Perhaps forgetting brings relief.
