HJK Corrosion Inhibitor Application Methods

This is a medium term corrosion inhibitor develop by a group of researchers in Korea. The product is an eco-friendly water soluble solution and hence can be applied on different metal surfaces such as galvanized iron, zinc, aluminium , carbon steel and other steels with ease. It could either be sprayed or dipped on the desired metal surfaces. The product when applied forms a thin film of 100nm thickness on the surface of the metal thereby protecting the metal surface from rusting/corrosion. This product can be seen as a replacement for oil based and hence can eliminate the process stages such as degreasing and de-rusting or even phosphating. This ensures significant cost savings. The product had been tested and found to work well in Korea, however for India it needs to be validated for the local prevailing environmental conditions.
