Originally a Detroit native, MK broke through in the early 90s with a clutch of club hits on his own Area 10 label. He then moved to New York where he made a name for himself in the remix field through combining the East Coast-flavoured house sound with cut-up lyrics. He is the man behind house classics such as 'Always', 'Burning' and 'Love Changes' and has influenced acts such as Todd Edwards and Jamie Jones.
