In other words fiber is great for people that are dieting, and don’t even think about giving up carbs. When you workout you burn calories and that in turn builds muscle. Instead of giving the axe to all carbs straight across the board just try to focus on the slow burning ones. Swap your refined grains for whole grains, fruit juice for fresh or frozen fruit, and opt for low fat milk instead of cream in your coffee. The second tip Abbey has to help you diet smarter this year is to modify your workout. While it would seem to make sense that more cardio for an extended duration would burn more calories and result in more weight loss research has actually shown that this type of workout has the potential to not just burn calories, but burn muscle as well and over time.
