The Holy Grail of Rare Australian Muscle Cars

Is this the rarest GT/HO of them all..........? No your eyes aren't deceiving you and yes unicorns do exist. If you're a GT aficionado or regular reader of Survivor Car magazine you would be well informed on this particular XY FALCON GTHO Phase 3 but for those that aren't, here's a brief rundown of why this GT is one of the rarest vehicles, let alone GT's, of them all hence why it's often referred to as the UNICORN. For starters this is the only GT to be painted in Bold Blue(not Rothmans Blue as often referred too) add the cloth insert trim, windback sunroof and the fact this was 1 of the 200 HO's homolagated for Bathurst, you can see why it's associated with a mythical creature. You'd think the list of options would be enough to warrant ultimate GT status but it is its well documented history, ultra low mileage(39k) and a fastidious owner that has gone to every effort to maintain the vehicle as close as possible to the day it rolled off the production line and with great success. There's no hiding the fact we're a Ford family and I'm a XW/XY nut, I love these cars, I was brought up around them and I've worked on them since I was 10 years old. To have the opportunity to not only work on a car as rare as this but for it to be one of my favourite GT's, I'm truly honoured and grateful I was trusted with it.
