Hidden in a remote part of Rajasthan is one of India’s most overlooked natural wonders—the Ramgarh Crater (रामगढ़ क्रेटर). Formed by a meteor impact millions of years ago, this massive geological site remains largely unknown and untouched. In this video, I travel deep into the crater to explore its rugged landscape and uncover its mysterious past. With no tourists in sight and almost no modern development, it feels like stepping into a lost world. Join me on this journey to discover what makes the Ramgarh Crater so unique - and why hardly anyone knows it exists. Watch my Lonar Lake Crater video • I Went Inside India's Mysterious Meteorite... . The Ramgarh Crater, located in the Baran district of Rajasthan, India, is a prominent geological structure believed to be the result of a meteorite impact. It is roughly 3.5 kilometers in diameter and features a distinct circular ring-like formation visible from satellite imagery. At the centre of the crater sits the ancient Bhand Deva Temple (भांड देव मंदिर), a 10th-century Shiva temple made of sandstone, which adds cultural significance to the site. Although locals have long known about the crater, its scientific recognition as a possible impact structure dates back to the 19th century. British geologist F.R. Mallet mentioned the site in 1869, but serious scientific attention only came later in the 20th century. In recent years, researchers have found shocked quartz and other geological evidence supporting the theory that Ramgarh was formed by a meteorite impact, making it one of only a few recognised impact craters in India. 00:00 Inside a meteorite crater 03:30 Fort 05:20 Best viewpoint 08:07 Khajuraho-like temple (Bhand Deva temple) 12:10 What's inside? 14:10 Impact site (Pushkar lake & wetland) 15:51 Food tour 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 1) SUBSCRIBE! ✔ Click https://www.youtube.com/c/KarlRock/?s...
