Insert a bolt into the upper strut plate along with a washer. Then, add a small black spacer (Photo). Slide the bolt through the upper portion of the strut, add another small black spacer, and push the bolt through the other side of the strut plate. Finally, add a washer and a locking nut. 1:36 Repeat the same process on the lower strut plate. 2:37 You are finished and ready to test it out. Remove the center mast pin. 2:40 Congratulations—you are now ready to use your JB Rack with the Slow Fold Strut.
