Thank you - and here's to you and your journey! ----- About Louise Nevelson Louise Nevelson was an American artist who was born in Ukraine in 1899 and died in New York in 1988. She was active during the mid-20th century and is best known for her large, abstract sculptures made from found objects and arranged into intricate, often monochromatic compositions. It's estimated she produced several thousand artworks over the course of her life. Her work is often associated with the Abstract Expressionist movement, although she rejected this label and instead referred to herself as a "realist of a different kind." Nevelson was a pioneering female artist and a prominent figure in the New York art world. Video Credits: Nevelson in Process by WNET (Television station : New York, N.Y.)
