Baby's First Time Sledding - Fürenalp (Engelberg), Switzerland

Throwback to pre-Covid-19 days of February 2020 when my husband and I took our 8-months-old baby boy sledding for the very first time. For this special occasion, we chose easy and safe 1km long toboggan run at Fürenalp above the village Engelberg in Switzerland. This winter adventure starts with a 1 km winter walk from the top of the Fürenalp cable car. Then you can take the nice and easy sled ride back to your starting point. The sled run has a small incline and no curves and is therefore ideal for families with small children and less experienced sledders. We took the sled run one time. Then, we took a break at the restaurant before we took the cable car back to the valley. We loved our very first sledding day as a family.
