Episode 28 of The Great Canadian Road Trip 🇨🇦 I leave Kenora early in the morning, beginning the day with a stop at the iconic Husky the Muskie before continuing west toward the Ontario–Manitoba border. Crossing into Manitoba, I officially enter the seventh province of my journey across Canada. Soon after, I head into the Falcon Lake area, where I venture into the surrounding wilderness to investigate the site of one of Canada’s most famous and mysterious UFO encounters. North of Falcon Lake, I hike through the forest to the remote location where Stefan Michalak reportedly encountered a strange craft in 1967 — a case that would go on to become Canada’s most well-known UFO incident. From there, I visit the Longitudinal Centre of Canada, marking the geographic halfway point of my cross-country road trip, before continuing toward my hometown of Winnipeg. Just before reaching the city, I stop at the Red River Floodway, reflecting on its history, its engineering brilliance, and the vision of Premier Duff Roblin, whose creation has protected Winnipeg from devastating floods for decades.
