The Severn Valley Railway 2021 Spring Steam Gala was held between Thursday the 15th and Sunday the 18th of April. One visiting locomotive in the form of No.2999 Lady of Legend was brought in from Didcot Railway Centre. Built in 2019 to a 1902 design by George Jackson Churchward, Lady of Legend is a back conversion of Hall class 4-6-0 No.4942 Maindy Hall incorporating its frames and boiler with a number of modifications and the manufacture of new driving and bogie wheelsets. Home based locomotives in service includes from the Great Western Railway, 0-6-0 Saddle Tank No.813, 2800 class 2-8-0 No.2857, 5700 class Pannier Tank No.7714 and Hawksworth Modified Hall class 4-6-0 No.6960 Raveningham Hall. The Southern Railway is represented by rebuilt West Country Class Pacific No.34027 Taw Valley, the London Midland and Scottish Railway by Ivatt class 4 mixed traffic 2-6-0 No.43106 and British Railways by Riddles Standard class 4 mixed traffic 4-6-0 No.75069.
