The teams play round 2 of the qualifying round, where all the words start with the same letter. Both the teams get all 10 words right and Nirmala Periasamy and Tamil Isai Soundarajan qualify to play the money tree level with a lead of 2 points. Tamilisai Soundarajan decides to give the clues and Nirmala Periasamy opts to guess them. They crack round 1 and win Rs. 10000/- and they move on to play the 2nd level and win Rs. 20,000/- The team finish level 3 for Rs. 30,000/- like a piece of cake, and go forward to play the 4th level for Rs. 50,000/-. But unfortunately they could get only two right within the specified time and take home Rs. 30,000/-
