Hey all!!! 👋 This weekend was all about adventure, fun and relaxation as we went to Center Parcs De Kempervennen. 🎉 We had a premium 4-person cottage, cottage 274, in a fantastic spot near the Market Dome. 🏡 Upon arrival, I will immediately give you a tour of our super comfortable cottage, complete with cozy living room, spacious bedrooms and a modern kitchen. Truly a perfect base for the weekend! The first full day was scheduled with a brand new, exciting activity: the High Adventure Experience! This is a brand new climbing park full of action and challenge. 🌲💪 Here you can follow different climbing routes, and believe me, it's not for wimps! 😅 There are various heights to climb, ranging from easy for beginners to really challenging for the more experienced climbers. 🧗‍♀️ We naturally chose the exciting routes with all kinds of obstacles, rope bridges and balancing platforms where you had to keep your balance. The adrenaline flew through our bodies when we reached the zipline! 🌪️ The zipline floats high above the trees and it gives you such a great feeling of freedom as you whizz down. 🌳 The next day, Noah and Kyan were able to indulge in one of the park's most spectacular activities: whitewater rafting! 🌊 The whitewater raft was open especially for us, which meant they could enjoy the thrilling current over and over again without waiting. For Noah and Kyan, this was the ultimate adrenaline rush! It is a perfect activity for kids who love adventure and water fun. After an action-packed day, of course we couldn't resist having a nice dinner at the buffet restaurant Evergreenz. This was our first time dining here in the evening, and what an experience it was! 🌟 Evergreenz offers an extensive buffet with a huge variety of dishes, from delicious fresh salads, flavorful soups and crusty bread to main dishes such as grilled meat and fish dishes. 🍖🐟 The dessert buffet was truly the icing on the cake: ice cream, cakes, puddings and fresh fruit, everything was there! 🍰🍦 Kyan and Noah were unstoppable at the dessert buffet, and we all went home feeling wonderfully satisfied. We also visited the petting zoo and the otter pond. Noah and Kyan weren't very excited at first, but once they were there, they didn't want to leave. At the petting zoo, they were able to see goats, rabbits and other animals up close and even pet them. 🐰🐐 At the otter pond we saw the playful otters sliding through the water 🦦 Then it was time for the real water fun: Aqua Mundo! 🌊 This tropical swimming paradise is one of Center Parcs' highlights and we really tested everything there is to do. From the big slides to the Lazy River, where you can float while the current pushes you along. 💦 We did an extensive tour of the pool, from the wave pool to the children's area and even the outdoor pool. Aqua Mundo is perfect for young and old, and it gave us the ultimate vacation feeling. 🌴What a fantastic weekend we had! From tree climbing to white water rafting, from delicious food to relaxing swimming - it was a weekend full of fun and adventure!
