Many of them have needed help using functional phrases to help make their needs met and reduce frustration. Teacher Jen also has a toddler who is using sentences and eager to learn more, so she created this video to help model useful sentences for kids to copy. She demonstrates a situation where one would use the language rather than just saying phrases in a vacuum, which helps toddlers better understand where and when to use the phrases! This video may be helpful for children with speech delays, but if your child has a speech delay, this is not a replacement for in-person services and intervention. If you have any concerns, please talk to your family doctor or pediatrician and possibly seek out early intervention services in your area.
