HARDEST EMBLEM IN THE GAME – THE COMP GRIND FROM HELL – Umbral Echelon Secured (After Losing My Sanity) I decided to take on the absolute mental and emotional gauntlet that is climbing from 0 to 15,000 Competitive rank… just to get a fancy emblem. The Umbral Echelon. Was it worth it? Yes. Did it cost me brain cells? Also yes. I finally secured the emblem at 13,792 rank points. Sadly, OBS decided to take a nap the moment it dropped, so no glorious emblem footage—but the pain is still very much alive. To avoid boring you with 10 hours of gameplay, this video only includes matches at Ascendant rank—the final, sweaty stretch. Along the way, I ran into: • Teammates with less map awareness than a rock • Matchmaking that made me question Bungie’s love for me • Connection so bad I got killed by someone still in orbit • And while you won’t see them in this video—plenty of cheaters were faced during the climb.
