The current selling price is round about 24.900€. The BMW 218i is powered by a 1.5l 3 Cylinder Turbo petrol engine and delivers 136HP & 220Nm of torque. 136 hp are perfect for the BMW 218i daily driver, because they are comfortable and consume not much, nevertheless they accelerate very well. The BMW 218i has 6-Speed Automatic gearbox Transmission. The gear shifts are very aggressive you can feel it when you drive in SPORT MODE but when you try to drive normal the gears are super soft. Also when you hit a paddle on your steering wheel it shifts directly. Let's take a look at the BMW 218i fuel consumption. According to factory specifications, the manufacturers promise that the combined fuel consumption is 5,5l/100km. For a 1.5l engine with 136hp this is a very low consumption. But the driving style plays a big role, because if you drive sporty you can never keep the prescribed manufacturer consumption. On the other hand, if you drive very economically, you can even get below the factory specification. Further information is that the tank volume includes 52 liters. With a full tank, the BMW 218i reaches 660 kilometers. For an everyday car this is very good. However, you have to consider that these numbers can only be achieved if you drive economically. The BMW 218i is powered by a rear-wheel-drive System. 1575Kg is very much for a BMW F23 218i. A heavy car makes a car consume more. The heavy weight is not noticeable in the acceleration, because it is very fast. According to the factory, the BMW F23 218i accelerates from 0-100 in 9,4 seconds, which is very impressive for 136hp, considering that the car is very light considering that the car is very heavy at 1575kg. From our own experience we can confirm that the acceleration feels much faster. The top speed of the BMW 218i is 207km/h which is very crazy for only 136hp. In sport mode it is hard and stiffer and you have more feeling for the road and bumps, the car starts to bounce a little. However, the cornering position is also dependent on the weight. The steering is very accurate and direct, so you do not have to steer much.
