Even after over a year on YouTube I still standby the title, So far I haven't seen a better Homemade A-Rig out out there and I've now made over 1500+ A-Rigs. So after quite a few request's I've updated the video, made it shorter, better lighting, better angles (hopefully) but still the same solid Build. Crazy enough I'm still using the same A-Rig I made in my first Homemade A-Rig video over a year ago!!! If you have any questions or need help let me know and I'll help however I can. Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:50 Making the A-rig 16:55 How to Bend the Arms on the A-Rig Parts in this video sell out or go on back order all the time. So I'm going to give a very generalized list of the parts and where I get them. Wire Former: Boggs Tackle Maker. Wire: Ebay, they've never been out of stock. Search for "Stainless Steel Straight Lure Shaft Wire". I buy 10" wire for the Main Line and 16" wire for the arms for the Secondary baits and Dummy Baits. I only use 0.035" diameter wire which is considered a "Flex Rig". If you want a beefier rig use 0.040" diameter wire. Head/Main Swivel: Use a high quality swivel. I recommend Owner Hyperwire Barrel Swivel. Size#3. You can use a swivel for the baits or a split ring, whatever you decide make sure its a high quality. For Swivels I recommend P-Line Crosslock Swivel Size#5. For Barrel Swivel/Split Rings I recommend Owner Hyperwire Size#4 for the Barrel Swivel and Owner Hyperwire Size#3 for the Split Ring. Blades: Worth Co or Barlows Tackle Solder/Flux: Look for a specialized Stainless Steel solder or a solder with a high amount of Silver in it. If you buy crap solder it will be a nightmare to get the Solder to stick to the Stainless Steel. Flux is also a must when using Stainless Steel. The rest of the parts sell out all over the place so get it where you can find it: Keeper Split Rings: Bass Pro Shops Size#4 Offshore Angler Brand Blade Swivel: Dr Fish off Amazon Size#6. Blade Split Ring: Use a "Fine" split ring Size#2 or #3. Center Spring: Amazon Crimp: Amazon with an inner Diameter of 1.3mm. Be careful because some companies sell by "Outer Diameter". Beads: Hobby Store Shrink tube: Anywhere
