Remember the funniest guest stars from the classic TV western, F-troop with actor facts and funny moments and bloopers from the actors that brought extra laughs to an already funny series. F-troop ran from 1965 to 1967. Even though it's original run wasn't that long the series has remained popular in re-runs and in the memories of those that have grown up watching it countless times. Part of the series fun was the many guest stars that brought their comedic talents to the series. The series main regular stars included Larry Storch, Ken Berry, Forrest Tucker, and Melody Patterson. Henry Gibson played Wrong Starr a jinxed soldier with bad luck that caused hilarious problems everywhere he went. He would go on to be a regular on Laugh-in and did a lot of guest appearances including one as a villain on Wonder Woman. Edward Everett Horton was actually close to being a regular, but he only appeared for six episodes. He played the ancient medicine man named Roaring Chicken. He had a long career including work as a narrator for the Fairy Tales segment of Rocky and Bullwinkle. He brought a parody of his F-troop character to Batman. Don Rickles guest starred as Bald Eagle, the son of Wild Eagle. He did movies, TV appearances, and stand-up comedy where he was known for the insults he threw at his friends. Everyone seemed to love his act no matter how bad his insults got. Jack Elam was usually cast as a bad guy in the westerns he played, but eventually became known for his comedies like Cannonball Run and Support Your Local Sheriff with James Garner. He was also known for his injured eye that gave him a very unique look. On F-troop he challenges Captain Parmenter, but loses in hilarious fashion. Famous for his work as the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones and later the Carol Burnett Show, Harvey Korman made an appearance as funny Prussian officer who comes to Fort Courage to train the men on the use of hot air balloons. One of his regular bloopers in his career was his inability to keep from laughing at his Carol Burnett co-star, Tim Conway. Batman's Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether appear. Both had played Catwoman for the 60s Batman. MASH's Jamie Farr appeared twice on F-troop as two different characters. Milton Berle, one of the early pioneers of television appeared as the medicine man, Wise Owl. Phil Harris the famous band leader and radio star from the Jack Benny Program, guest starred as the fictional 147 year old Indian who, according to the story, had helped out George Washington during the Revolutionary War. 0:00 Intro 0:17 Henry Gibson as Wrongo Starr 1:33 Edward Everett Horton as Roaring Chicken 2:21 Don Rickles as Bald Eagle 4:20 Jack Elam 5:31 Harvey Korman 7:17 Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether 9:13 Jamie Farr 9:59 Milton Berle 10:48 Phil Harris 11:27 Other F-troop videos and conclusion
