This is a very common question that we receive many times and it is many times a misconception in the vehicle dynamics world. Adding weight to the front of the car makes it more... UNDERSTEER. But why? 🔵 It's all about vertical load sensitivity. 🔵 More weight on a tire makes it less efficient in generating lateral force. 🔵 So, when you shift weight to the front, you can't generate enough lateral force to balance the extra weight, leading to understeer.
