This is side B (2/2) —————————————————————————————- “Personally I don´t really like the movie but the soundtrack is S U P E R B! The grandmage of fx pedals (aka. Kevin Shields) returns with this beautifully currated tracklist with some original work thrown in the mix (which, in my opinion, even surpasses some of MBV). A must listen for all shoegaze fans, and definetly an all star cast! From Japaneese folkrock legend Haruomi „Harry“ Hosono to Drill´-n-bass master Squarepusher, it´s certainly a broad landscape of styles. The perfect soundtrack for lonlieness, and a definite keeper in the collection. I bought this on Record Store Day 2019 along with some other stuff. Me and my friend were first in line since we arrived at 3 in the morning. Came for Death Grips, left with this instead (and can´t say I regret it). The soundtrack was long out of print, and the only affordable way of getting it was buying bootlegs. So a fresh pressing limited to 8000 world wide on colored vinyl was a must have. Unfortunately way fewer were actually made (exact amount is unknown, but estimations reach from 800-3000 copies), leaving the resel market enough reason to ask unbelievable prices almost immediately after release. There is still a lot of demand, and prices are steadily rissing since it has not been repressed as promissed in black (This was a RSD first release, meaning that it´s only a special variant of a much bigger repress/release amount). Many people also complain about issues such as poor sound quality, surface noise and warping. My pressing sounds really great (although very digital sounding at points since the master used for this was the 2003 CD release) and has almost no surface noise whatsoever. But I would not say it´s worth what people are asking for it on Discogs. If you can get it under 100€, definitely pick it up, everything over that amount would be too much!" A: All audio is recorded via USB out of my Dual DTJ 301.1 with an Audio Technica AT3600L cart to my Macbook Pro (2016) via Ableton. Audio is 192khz 24bit uncompressed wav. Video runs at 60fps with a 1080p resolution and has no audio. Video editing is in Imovie and recorded with an Iphone 8. Q: Are any of your recordings edited?
