OK, maybe not a "misadventure", per se, but things sure didn't go as intended. I had planned to do an early morning paddle on the Burntside River near Ely, anticipating an outing very similar to my earlier trip on Blueberry Creek. For a variety of reasons, it ended up being a late morning paddle on Burntside Lake instead. Still, it was a paddle, in the north country, on a gorgeous day. Nowhere near being a loss by any means. Along the way, I fill my viewers in on what's been happening lately. The problems continued after the trip...
