I've seen Bruce, Bob and Neil but in 1974 Michael Nesmith gave the best show that I've ever seen (at the Victoria Palace, London). Thirty odd years later and I never expected to see him here, on stage in the UK, again. Happily,I was wrong. Mon October 29, 2012 - 7:00 PM Michael Nesmith Royal Northern College of Music 124 Oxford Road Manchester, United Kingdom. This was the third of Michael's four UK dates in 2012. A couple of nights previous to this Michael had told the story of "The Prison" at the Queen Elizabeth Hall along with the songs but here, without the story are Marie's Theme, Lampost and to close the show, Laugh Kills Lonesome (from the Tropical Campfires album). Great stuff.
