Health Science -- Careers with a very healthy outlook With the increasing demands on our healthcare system we need workers who understand the health issues that society is facing both now and into the future. The Bachelor of Health Science prepares graduates for a non-clinical role in the health sector. In an effort to prepare you for the much needed multi-disciplined approach to the healthcare industry, you will study courses in biological, behavioural and social sciences, alongside students who are studying in a range of allied health programs. You will also choose courses from a number of specialisations including administrative management, adult and community education, commerce, human resource management, management accounting, management of information technology, counselling studies, psychology and marketing to prepare yourself for a variety of roles in the areas of health promotion, health policy and health care management.
