Those elevators are the fastest of inground hydraulic's i've ever seen. I've been there over the whole time of the elevator modernisation project, and gave idea's to let it move smooth and to the less busy. At the time they finished the left one it was set to a standard slow speed, then there was only one lift which was very busy and Always moving and the sound of the slow moving elevator was very annoying in the machine room. I told them the old speed was faster and the lift will get more smooth then before, so they set it into the current and fastest speed i've ever seen on hydraulics. We known the elevator Always with this speed and very unique moving sound which you can hear in the first elevator, the hydraulics from the left had got to be replaced because it was worned out and it had major problems, but the sound when it's going down is totally awesome to hear.
