This here ladies and gentlemen is me playing a really old shareware program called "Quatra Command". This game was originally published by DOE Entertainment in 1994, and was later included on this shareware CD titled "Top 101 Games" in 1995. Now normally, this game wouldn't work on Windows 10, but I used WinVDM (OTVDM), a Windows 3 emulator. The download link to the emulator is here: https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/re... Now while this game is already available online to play on websites like Internet Archive and Classic Reload, in those cases the gameplay speed seems to go faster than the player can react. As a result, death is almost guaranteed (especially on the third level). By contrast, the emulator I have on my computer has the game play at the correct speed. As a result of the speed correction, I was able to beat ALL 3 LEVELS!!! Yes, even at this speed, the player can still get killed, but not as easily as the fast paced versions of Quatra Command that are playable online. While there is already a gameplay video of Quatra Command on YouTube: • Quatra Command Gameplay , the player got killed. I couldn't find any videos of Quatra Command in which the player managed to make it all the way through, so I just took it upon myself to create this video. Also, due to copyright, the majority of the music sample of the song "Sleeping My Day Away" by D.A.D. (which is the Main Menu tune in the game) has been muted out in this video, much to my dismay. I couldn't have this video uploaded to YouTube unedited because of this limitation, so I had to edit it. Oh well, nothing I can do about copyright restrictions.
