Is this the BEST BEACH in MEXICO?? In this episode we visit a sleepy beach town with a population of 500 people on the Pacific coast. It goes by the name of CHACAHUA 🤩 To get here we parked our car at the nearest village (El Zapotalito) and then got a boat over to the island 🚤 Once you get off the boat you then take a taxi (truck) to the town. It's a slow 45 minute drive to the town but the scenery along the way is stunning 😍🏜️ This sleepy beach town is exactly that, but in all honest I wouldn't even call it a town, it's more like a big village. There is nothing modern here, no hotels, no food chains, none of that jazz. This place is PURE AUTHENTIC MEXICO. It feels like you've gone back in time and it also has that feeling of remoteness, like you are away from the big bad world and instead you are in this tropical paradise ❤️ Is this the best beach in Mexico? Well, to me it had everything. A HUUUUUGE bay with lovely soft white sand, lots of BEACH SHACKS serving amazing Mexican food all day and the waves just kept rolling in for the surfers. With all of this you are surrounded by lush green trees and various plantations 🌵🌳🌴 Aside from the beach, this sleepy town also has a stunning LAGOON. The lagoon is great to swim in because it is calm compared to the ocean. The lagoon is also famous for BIO Luminescence! 💙 Unfortunately while we were here we didn't witness it but we met many people who said they had and it was unreal! So it's just the luck of the draw basically. The best time to see it is when there is no moon. Another reason why I think think this could be the best beach in Mexico is because of how remote it is, and how undeveloped it is. You have to make a fair bit of effort to get here and I'm sure that put's a lot of people off going, which is great for the rest of us!! 😁 If you'd like to know any more about this fantasic place, please feel free to ask questions in comments ✏️ We hope you enjoy this part of the trip. This vlog is the fifth in this road trip series.
