Music and the arts. An original Irish 'bad boy', the flamboyant and eccentric DJ/Producer has out partied the best, and over the years become best friends with each new sunrise. Known for his unique flair behind the decks, Sian's DJ'ing adventures have spanned all continents and taken in some of the finest clubs and nights the scene has to offer. His releases and remixes on labels including Pokerflat, Karmarouge, Dessous, Mule, Aus and SCI+TEC have won him an army of fans. The respect of his peers has also seen them step up to remix his work. Steve Bug's remix of 'Sei', Efdemin's reworking of 'Appletree' and Pan-Pot's take on 'Skeleton' have spread the Sian gospel even further, and also garnered huge press support throughout Europe and beyond. Title track 'Byzantine Conduit' is a trademark Sian production. Dark and menacing. Constructed around brooding synths, it is an electronic masterpiece. Zombie Jesus is a more stripped back, minimal affair. Warped, twisted, and ever so spooky, this is late night material of the highest order. Audience beware. This will mess with your minds. On remix duty for this release is an artist much admired by the label chief. Argentina's Jonas Kopp is best known for this releases and remixes on CMYK, Net28, Traum, Curle and Spectral Sound. Here he provides two storming takes on Byzantine Conduit. His 'Raw Mix' keeps with the spookyness, but with a far more low slung vibe than the original. Whilst his 'Synth Mix', takes the original synth line and maximizes it use, by delivering a bouncy groover of a rework. Overall another killer release from Sian and Octopus, and one that is set to receive major support from all of you. atmospheric beast from the Irishman.
