These are crazy times we live in. There’s an odd stillness with a sense of impending doom creeping up from behind. The pressure dropping as a storm looms just out of sight. This song mirrors that feeling of dark anticipation while fearing your old haunts have come back to call in all your outstanding debts. It’s inspired by great movies like The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, The Magnificent 7 and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I’ve loved old westerns for a long time, but had never thought to write a song capturing such a story. This song seemed to come out of nowhere, but made perfect sense for me to write once the story came into focus. Enjoy your new soundtrack for these uncertain days.
