Abstract: Product management, especially in the digital space, has gained significant interest recently. With the explosion of data, more profound insights into customers and markets can be obtained, fuelling product management as a practice. In this space, product-led growth strategy plays a crucial role wherein the product is the principal driver of the organization's footprint in the market. In this practitioner talk, I plan to offer detailed insights into this approach and understand how companies leverage the same in the modern-day B2B space. I will draw on several real-life experiences uncovering challenges in product-led growth. About the Speaker: Rakshith Shastry is a Senior Director of Product Management at Salesforce. Previously, he was the Principal Product Manager at Adobe, a company where he spent more than a decade of his professional tenure. He believes he is still an engineer at heart though his coding skills are not as sharp as they used to be - thanks to challenging his career in Product Management. Rakshith obtained his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (Karnataka), followed by a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Apart from his professional commitments, he enjoys speaking to an audience on product management, customer segmentation, and product strategy topics.
