At age 7, Angela Cartwright recorded the beautiful ballad 'Don't Grow Up Too Soon' as a duet with her father John Cartwright. It was written for her by Bill Jacoby and released on the LP 'Angela Cartwright Sings' (1960). At that time Angela was starring as Linda Williams in the sitcom 'Make Room for Daddy' (1957-64). Later she played Brigitta Von Trapp in 'The Sound of Music' (1965) and Penny Robinson in 'Lost in Space' (1965-68). Bill Jacoby (1925-2008) ran the Bill Jacoby Dance Studio, 5665 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, where Angela Cartwright was his star pupil. He is shown in one photograph holding sheet music. I do not own the copyright to the music or photographs. The video is offered for the pleasure of fans. This is the first video I have ever made. I hope you will enjoy it. (It was YouTube who turned off the comments, not me. I've only just noticed. WB, May 2021.)
