Spin Rhythm XD - Gameplay Review and First Impressions

A video showing gameplay and my initial thoughts of Spin Rhythm XD as a relatively beginner player in the world of rhythm games. We'll explore the many different songs, difficulties and input methods available here, and I'll close with my personal thoughts on the game as a whole. NOTE: The audio cuts out for around 30s. Even being as cautious as I was, youtube still managed to find something to take offense to! Rhythm games and I have always had a complicated relationship. On the one hand they're immensely good time-wasters, and yet on the other I never felt compelled to push myself to the heights I see others reach. I'm a fair-weather gamer when it comes to rhythm, I'm in it to have a nice relaxing time playing at a pace I'm comfortable with! If you're of the same mind then this video should give you a pretty clear insight on how Spin Rhythm XD plays for a more casual gamer. It somewhat spoils the ending but nevertheless I'm going to admit right here and now that SRXD impressed me quite a lot. It's a remarkably well polished product, aesthetically pleasing and above all else: fun. Scratch that, it's addictive. Spin Rhythm XD has genuinely become my game of choice when I have a short 15min gap to fill and want to bust something out that'll make me feel good and reward me with a shiny medal afterwards. I think it's a great game, but I don't make these videos so that you can blindly listen to my judgements, you need to decide for yourself! So sit back, relax and nod your head to the music as we slide through the world of Spin Rhythm XD.
