The Route: Starting Point: Glasshouse Mountains—classic views of the volcanic peaks. Stanley River Road: A fan-favorite for local riders, offering a mix of sweeping curves and rural scenery as you head toward Maleny. Howell’s Knob Lookout: Stopped for a breather at one of the highest points in the area (561m) for a 280-degree view of the coast and hinterland. Finish: Winding through the hills into the village of Montville. Bike Impressions: The Interceptor 650 continues to be a perfect companion for these secondary backroads.
