Growing Garlic In CONTAINERS | How to PLANT, HARVEST & CURE | Zone 5 Gardening | Guten Yardening Late last summer, we planted store-bought, organic garlic and planted it in a food safe plastic container. This was the first time we had attempted to grow garlic, and after a winter and spring, it is now time for us to harvest that garlic. In this video, we take you from garlic planting to garlic harvest to taste test to curing. We show you the various steps along the way. We show you how to plant garlic. We show you how to harvest garlic. We talk about how to cure garlic. And, as a bonus, we taste fresh organic garlic, and provide some feedback on the differences between the taste of fresh garlic and store-bought garlic. We are very pleased with our first garlic container harvest, and as a result, we are soon going to be planting much more garlic this year because the taste of fresh garlic is better, and this is an easy way to grow garlic.
