Stokes State Forest has four camping areas. The one in this video is pet friendly!!! A camping site in which you can bring your dog. Up to two dogs per site, up to two cars per site. Up to six people per site. Check in 12pm, Check out 12pm. One hour from NYC/Newark NJ area. Get there by taking I80 east and follow your gps exactly! lol They have other campground areas but specifically "The Shotwell camping area" only area that allows pets/dogs, contains 29 family sites. The amenities at this location include; flush restrooms, pit toilets and dumpster. There are NO showers at this camp site. But they have one 5 miles away (get in your car or really long hike) at a somewhat nearby campground on the Stokes State Forest property. The better you stink the better the bugs and bears will stay away from you lol Before i book a new camp site I always a take a in person visit. Last place was Voorhees State Park - love it but no pets allowed. This one is nice with a pond. Going to upload all the pics I took and videos so I can save someone else the trip of trucking it all the way there if you don't have to. Enjoy!
