The final level in Death in the Water 2, where you fight the kraken that's been being rude and mind controlling sharks to kill you just because you want to unearth long forgotten treasure to pay for your diving lessons and gear. Unfortunately, closing the game and then resuming sets your first aid kits to 0 so unlike my first win I had to play a bit more cautiously (and probably took longer than needed to win). The game does a great job of setting the atmosphere and keeping things tense. Treasure found in earlier levels pays for upgrades but aren't required to collect so the more chests you miss the harder the game will be. Unlocking better weapons is especially important as your starting weapon is really slow and takes forever to kill the more aggressive sharks. There is a bug with the shotgun where whenever you switch to it the extra ammo resets to 10 so I tried to avoid picking up extra ammo unless I needed it. While the shotgun is the weapon I preferred throughout the game it's not particularly great against the kraken itself. Unfortunately unless you care about a high score there's little replay value. It was a fun ride but $20 may be a steep price for some.
