Your favorite Survivor Tradition continues to thrive! This season was the hardest for me to get a general read from. I have been doing this for a long time and let me tell you I struggled, when the season started I placed my bets on TK and Tiyana... what a fool I was. The theme of this season was community and the strength you gain being a part of it. The players were incredible this season, from pre-merge stars like Anika and Rome, fan-favorites who had their torches snuffed to soon like Sierra, Sol and Kyle, those who fought till their very end like Teeny and Sam. Then there were the stars of the season... Andy and Genevieve who were responsible for some of the most iconic moments whether they were massive blindsides or deep felt personal moments that showed even if you reach your deepest low you can always find the strength to rise back up. Operation: Italy will go down as not just one of the greatest blindsides of the new era but in all of Survivor history. Andy and Genevieve have guaranteed spots for Survivor 50 if they want them. Strength and determination played a factor in determining our Sole Survivor, well done Rachel. Survivor 48 will be arriving in the spring.
