Lure Fishing | Double Figure Pike from the river Waveney at Beccles. Went out on a whim here lure fishing for Pike and Perch as weather was good. I didn't really prep for filming so ran out of batteries hence the reason video under 5 minutes. Beccles Quay is closed to fishing during the summer months and in the winter it is a real haven for Perch and Pike (as long as the Seals don't winter over in there). Started off fishing in the quay but not too much space as the boats have been moved from gas dyke due to the dredging works. Moving up the river I hit this clonker of a fish on the strikepro guppie. Fish wasn't weighed so any guess how much it weighs? This time of the year the River Waveney produces some fantastic Pike and Perch. Paid parking at the Quay.
