"Best hike in Norway? | ROMSDALSEGGEN." Romsdalseggen is said to be one of Norways most beautiful hike. This is a trip I cannot recommend enough if you are into hiking and would like to see Norwegian fjords and mountains from above. Romsdalseggen offers spectacular views in all directions. Most people walk romsdalseggen from Isfjorden at Vengedalen parking lot and end up in Åndalsnes. If you are going midsummer during the Norwegian national vacations, I would recommend waking up real early or going late in the afternoon to avoid too much people. Normally I would say you use maybe 5-7 hours to walk Romsdalseggen`s "normal" route, we used approximately 8 hours I think, taking time to film and eating at the new mountain restaurant just before the descent to Åndalsnes.
